Horrendous Experience. We rented a flat in Croydon and we reported on numerous occasions that the hot water was not working and the central heating. Carol Wight ( Senior property management). Ignored our emails and calls. The landlord came to the house and told my partner and I we have to live like that and there is no other option. How can you tell your tenants this ?
After having our baby we needed to buy multiple oil radiators to keep one room in the house warm.
The landlord even mentioned to us that he had a previous property manager and he got rid of him for Carol Wight and he mention she is not doing her job and he will change properties management again.
However, this did not help with our experience.
This situation also cause my new born son to get sick and they are don’t care.
Avoid this letting agency. They are clowns and unprofessional.

Today we picked up the keys for our flat in Croydon. Just over two weeks ago lovely Lucy Webster showed us the flat and we fell in love with the property right away. Lucy was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, which was the great introduction to Leaders. She made the property application process extremely smooth and almost effortless. She was very quick to respond to all questions and queries (which we had many!). You are definitely lucky if you get Lucy as your agent at Leaders!

Great team, I have property that I am looking to put on the market, Meg and Rezah gave me lots of advice and info, when I do let the property out it will definitely be through Leaders!

If your looking to rent....Avoid Leaders as tennants arnt valued the same as Landlords. Finding the perfect House size to rent and location, Leaders forest hill letting agency did really well for me.
However when I moved in I then fell under the Croydon branch. Miss K Wheeler who was supposed to manage the property had absolutley no customer service, no care for tennants, always blammed it on others.
.Incorrect keys issued to 3 out of the housemates when they moved in over diffrent periods. (One Tennant had to get locksmith to move in as leaders were closed and he was issued wrong keys)
.My first winter no heating in my room, I had stated in the summer the radiator did not work and was ignored for months and months. Turns out it had been locked off and needed to be turned back on when I moved in.
.complaints made about lack of cleaning that was ment to be provided every two weeks and general maintainence upkeep, I was basically called a liar and told cleaner is coming in every 2 weeks. (Images to prove otherwise we're ignored)
. Over 6 weeks for them to call out pest control, pest control came once and not seen since, the house is at its 3rd/4th month of rodents, none of the holes have been filled in so they keep coming up from under the floor.
Miss K Wheeler gave the impression that leaders dont value tennants as much as they value Landlords, when I sent her an email 85% of the time I wouldn't even get an acknowledgement she had recieved it, any time I called she was working from home (not sure how that means you can't reply to emails or calls).
I reached out to Leaders headoffice to make an official complaint in November and they were polite but just palmed me back to Miss K Wheeler who then eventually called me back for the first time but spouted excuses and strung me and the house mates along for weeks.
Avoid Leaders if your a Tennant and especially if the property you like falls under the Leaders Croydon Branch as you will probably only be treated like a cash cow!

Lucy Webster was lovely to work with to secure my new lovely home. The process and customer service I encountered was top notch and I am loving my home too. Thank you leaders for your extraordinary input.
